Conclusion of the Digital Security Skills Training Workshop in Socotra.

The training workshop on digital, physical, and psychological security skills for addressing blackmail issues concluded this morning at the Kuwait Educational Complex Hall. Organized by the Socotri Women's Foundation for Response and Development in partnership with the Cultural Media Center (CMC) as part of the third phase of the Safe Sister program, the workshop equipped participants with essential knowledge to protect themselves in the digital age.
At the conclusion of the three-day workshop, trainer Najwa Al-Asaadi, the head of the Socotri Women's Foundation for Response and Development and a participant in the Safe Sister fellowship program, expressed her appreciation for the CMC's role in the success of the workshop and similar fellowships. She explained that the trainees had received a wealth of theoretical and practical knowledge related to the concepts, objectives, and importance of digital security within a comprehensive program aimed at developing a culture of digital security, protecting data, and addressing online threats and their psychological and physical consequences.
For his part, the Deputy Governor of the Socotra Archipelago, Brigadier General Saleh Ali Al-Socotri, expressed his pleasure at the trainees' participation in the conclusion of their training program on digital security skills. He stated that such courses are the first of their kind in the Socotra Archipelago, praising the follow-up of multiple courses in this and other fields. He also expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Socotri Women's Foundation and the Cultural Media Center (CMC), and affirmed the local authority's support for various activities and programs aimed at building professional capacities.
