The Socotri Women’s Foundation for Response and Development launched an Eid clothing campaign for orphans this evening, coinciding with the blessed Eid al-Fitr holiday, with the support of generous donors.
The President of the Socotra Women’s Foundation, Najwa Ali Al-Asaadi, explained that the campaign targeted 61 children, with the support of generous donors to share the joy of Eid with orphans. The campaign consisted of financial aid distributed to the most needy orphans from low-income and needy families.
Al-Asaadi pointed out the Foundation’s keenness to provide support and assistance to children with special needs and to alleviate the suffering of their families in light of the difficult circumstances that the country is going through, through coordination with humanitarian organizations and generous donors.
